A Frugal Lifestyle

The word “frugality” has left a more negative connotation for most people than simply being a saver, a cheapskate or tightwad. There is a thin line difference to saving and too much frugality to the point of being awkward and ridiculous. This is where the negative connotation comes from.

But if you are guided with the right principles and reasons in deciding to live a frugal life, you would never go wrong.

If you have decided to live frugally, no need to be worried of insults. Keep your head up high. And keep your focus through these tips.

1. Eating Out - Having gimmicks with friends on a Friday night is fine if you do it once in a while. But this can be expensive if you add them up at the end of the month.

2. Clothing - Naturally, if you are the kind of person who adores signature and designer clothes, do not expect that there will be something left of your take home pay. Instead of being trendy, wear clothes that can easily be matched with your other clothes.

3. Own Home - If you are planning to move out and find a place to settle, do not be overwhelmed by the excitement, instead be practical. As a start, buy a smaller house or try other ways like rent-to-own, do-it-yourself arrangements, and owner financing.

4. Buying Your Own Car - Shy away from sports cars or SUVs. Just stick to your purpose of buying a car which is to transport you anywhere you need to go. Check out also program cars like a new car warranty. Maybe this is not just the best time to replace your car with a new one.

5. Shopping for Groceries - As much as possible do not go with items that are branded. Choose non-brands and try looking for items on the highest or lowest shelves for best prices. Grab the opportunity and shop during sales or use coupons.

6. Family Out - There are inexpensive ways to bond with your family and be entertained like going to libraries, local parks, malling, picnics, visit friends and local church.

7. Buying School Supplies - Stock school supplies at home and do not buy anything fancy.

8. Be contented with what you have and try to live within what you earn.

9. Plan your Child’s College Education - Teach them the ways to be independent and self-supporting by encouraging them to apply for scholarships and “on campus jobs”.

10. Be Aware of your Financial Limitations

11. Anticipate your Failures by Planning - Have always a budget plan so you would avoid impulsive buying.

About Diamond Weights

Diamonds are measured in Carat Weight.

One carat weighs 200 milligrams. If a

diamond is referred to as four grains, this

also means that it is a one carat diamond.

The word Carat comes from the word carob.

A carob is a bean that grows on a tree in the

Mediterranean. In times past, if a diamond

weighed the same as a carob bean, it was

one carob, or one carat.

However, in the far east, where Carob trees

do not grow, rice was used to measure the

weight of a diamond. If a diamond weighed

as much as four grains of rice, it was four

grains – or one carat as we know it to be

now. The majority of diamond purchases

are for diamonds that are 1/3 of a carat.

Beware when shopping for diamonds that

are already set or mounted. If more than one

diamond is used in the piece, the tag on the

jewelry will give the CTW or Carat Total

Weight – it does not tell you the carat weight

of each stone in the piece. You need to ask

the jeweler for the total carat weight of the

largest diamond in the piece to truly

understand what you are buying.

Credit card anyone?

The emergence of electronic age made almost everything possible to people. Determining and curing terminal diseases made convenient, reaching uncharted territories became a possibility, and most of all; everyday life of people is made easy by the technology. We now have more convenient stores, easier means of transportation and a variety of gadgets that makes work and pleasure almost effortless.

When it comes to finances, technology—through efficient banking system and services—has given people better alternatives and options how to manage their finances. Among the so many financial management schemes that emerged, one alternative stands out among the rest—the credit card.

Credit card, especially to working people and those who live very busy lives, has become an ultimate financial “savior.” More than just being a status symbol or an add-on to expensive purses and wallets, credit card has revolutionized the way people spend their money.

But, more than the glamour and the convenience credit card brings, there is much more to this card than most people could ever imagine.

Credit Card 101

Before indulging much into the never-ending list of the advantages and disadvantages of having a credit card, it is very important for people to first have a brief realization of what credit card really is in order for them to maximize its potentials.

In layman’s terms, credit card is a card that allows a person to make purchases up to the limit set by the card issuer. One must then pay off the balance in installments with interest payments. Usually, credit card payment per month ranges from the minimum amount set by the bank to entire outstanding balance. And since it is a form of business, the longer the credit card holder wait to pay off his or her entire amount, the more interest pile up.

Since having a credit card is a responsibility, only those people who are of legal age and have the capability to pay off the amount they are going to spend through their credit card, is allowed to have one. Actually, most of the adults in the U.S. use credit card because this is very convenient compared to carrying cash or checks every time they have to purchase something.

It is also equally important to be familiar with the different types of credit cards before you begin to build up credit card balances and to avoid having a nightmare of debt. Since credit cards are indispensable to most consumers, it is a must that they understand the types of card that include charge cards, bankcards, retail cards, gold cards and secured cards. All of these types come in one of two interest rate options—the fixed and variable. Actually, it doesn’t really matter if you decide to have a fixed-rate credit card because the interest rate remains the same. Compared to variable rate cards where rate may be subject to change depends upon the credit card issuer’s discretion, fixed-rate carry higher interest rates. Basically, credit card grantors issue three types of accounts with basic account agreements like the “revolving agreement” a.k.a. Typical Credit Card Account which allows the payer to pay in full monthly or prefer to have partial payments based on outstanding balance. While the Charge Agreement requires the payer to pay the full balance monthly so they won’t have to pay the interest charges, the Installment Agreement, on the other hand, asks the payer to sign a contract to repay a fixed amount of credit in equal payments in definite period of time. Another category of credit card accounts includes the individual and joint accounts where the former asks the individual alone to repay the debt while the latter requires the partners responsible to pay. The common types of credit cards available through banks and other financial institutions also include Standard Credit Cards like Balance Transfer Credit Cards and Low Interest Credit Cards; Credit Cards with Rewards Programs like Airline Miles Credit Cards, Cash Back Credit Cards and Rewards Credit Cards; Credit Cards for Bad Credit like Secured Credit Cards and Prepaid Debit Cards; and Specialty Credit Cards like Business Credit Cards and Student Credit Cards.

Now that you have an idea how many types of credit card there is, it is now time to review your goals before applying for one. Some of the things you should consider is how will you spend with the credit card monthly, if you plan to carry a balance at the end of the month, how much are you willing to pay in annual fees, if you have a strong credit history and is does your credit in need of rehabilitation. Once you have an idea of what you are looking for choose the right credit card for you by researching the information you need that will fit your basic needs. You may also review the credit cards you’ve research and compare them.

Shopping for a credit card?

Regardless of the type of credit card you choose, be sure to discuss your specific financial needs with your financial advisor or accountant before applying for any credit card. It is a must that you understand the benefits of having a credit card like safety, valuable consumer protections under the law, and the accessibility and availability of services. The most popular credit cards include Chase Manhattan Bank, Citibank, Bank of America, BankOne, American Express, Discover® Card, First Premier Bank, Advanta, HSBC Bank, and MasterCard Credit Cards.

Although having a credit card is synonymous to invincibility, this may also trigger a person’s thirst for material things and may lead into the temptation of buying something they don’t really need. A credit card bearer should always have in min that having a credit card is a big responsibility. If they don’t use it carefully, these may owe more than they can repay. It can also damage their credit report, and create credit problems that are quite difficult to repair.

All Styles and Sizes: The Basic Types of Cigars

For the new smoker, the different styles and sizes of cigars can seem mind-boggling. It helps to know that all cigars can be divided into two broad categories: parejos and figurados.

Parejos refers to cigars that are basically straight. They are subdivided into three categories: coronas, panatelas, and lonsdales. Coronas come in a variety of styles and famous brands. They are known as cigars with an 'open foot' (or tip) and a rounded head. Panatelas are generally longer than coronas, are thinner. Lonsdales are also longer than coronas, but are thinner than panatelas.

The second basic category consists of the figurados. Figurados refers to cigars with that are irregular or somehow hand-shaped so that they are not strictly straight. The smallest type of figurados is the belicoso cigars, which are known for a larger foot and a smaller, rounded head. Another basic figurado cigar is the pyramid, which have pointed heads that taper to a large foot. The perfecto is a figurado cigar that is tapered on both the head and foot, with a thinner middle. The largest figurado is the diademas, known as the 'giant' of cigars because it is always eight inches or longer.

All About the Clarity of Diamonds

Clarity is an important aspect of a diamond,

and it is important to know how to grade the

clarity of a diamond before you buy one. It is

actually quite easy to learn how to grade the

clarity of a diamond. There are basically two

things that you must understand: Diamonds

with visual inclusions and blemishes, and

those that are ‘eye clean’ meaning that there

are no inclusions or blemishes that can be

seen with the naked eye. From there, the

clarity of a diamond is further broken down

into subcategories.

Many people mistakenly think that diamond

clarity refers to how clear it is. This isn’t so.

Clarity actually refers to the internal and

external imperfections of the diamond. The

best diamonds, of course get a grade of FL

or IF – Flawless or Internally Flawless –

meaning that it is perfect. A grade of I-1, I-2

or I-3 means that the diamond is imperfect,

with a grade of I-3 being the worst.

Other grades are VVS1 and VVS2, which

means that the diamond is very, very slightly

imperfect; VS1 and VS2, meaning the

diamond is very slightly imperfect; SI-1 and

SI-2, which means that the diamond is

Diamond Grading Reports

You’ve been told that having a certificate or

a diamond grading report is important, and

as a responsible consumer, you get one –

unfortunately, you probably won’t understand

a word of what is on that diamond grading

report, unless you are a jeweler.

On the color grading scale, D, E, and F

mean that the diamond has no color. G, H,

and I means that it has very little color. J, K,

and L means that the diamond has a slight

yellow color. P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, and X

means that the diamond is a darker shade

of yellow. Z means that the diamond has a

fancy color – other than white or yellow.

On the color grading scale, D is the most

valuable, and X is the least valuable –

however diamonds that get a Z rating are

the rarest and most expensive diamonds

in the world.

There are many aspects to a grading report.

Figuring it all out can be very confusing. You

should talk to a jeweler you trust, and have

them explain everything on the diamond

grading report to you.

Diamond Brands and What They Mean

Diamonds are one of the few products that

simply cannot be ‘branded.’ Even though

there are different cuts, different grades, and

different values placed on each and every

diamond in existence, no diamond is any

specific brand – just as gold is not a specific

brand.

Branding is actually based on who owns the

diamond. For instance, if DeBeers owns the

diamond, it is a DeBeers Diamond – but it is

still just a diamond. If the diamond was cut by

a specific well known cutter, then it might be

branded in that way as well – but it usually

isn’t. It is still branded based on who owns it

at the time. So basically, when it comes down

to it – diamond brands mean absolutely

nothing at all.

Do not allow a jeweler to try to talk you into

paying an exorbitant price on a diamond

because it is a specific brand. This is a bit

of trickery used by unscrupulous jewelers

when they know that they are dealing with

people who don’t know much about

diamonds. Remember that diamonds are

not actually branded – unless mother nature

Budgeting For Emergency Funds?

Emergency funds are considered to be a necessity as far as financial security is concerned, since it can provide one with financial resources that one can resort to and depend on when an emergency arises such that when one is sick and have the burden of paying huge medical bills, or unexpected home or major car repair.

When one has no emergency fund, one can be obliged to acquire debt on your credit card that might take several years to repay with interest that would later cost so much more.

However by putting an extra thirty to fifty dollars every month in an individual “emergency savings account” one can be secured with what emergency the future may bring. In doing this, it is recommended that one regards the emergency fund as an additional bill, to be punctually paid each month.

Yes, one can and should budget and allocate the extra money for emergency fund, as this is very significant when one refers to his “financial future”. Here, the goal is to create savings from budgeting your income; the emergency savings should ideally be equal to at least three months your living expenditures.

What's important is that you should steadily put a certain amount of money aside, and only use it for real emergencies.

Not like an investment, the success of one’s long-term savings funds does not really count on the amount of return or interests but on placing a fixed amount of money away constantly and steadily so to have immediate access to it at all times.

In spite of one’s financial status, the initial step in the process of constructing an emergency fund is by knowing where your money is presently being consumed or spent.

When one recognizes and determines where one’s earnings are spent, then it will be easy for one to choose and make a decision where to trim down expenses. In other words, budget.

Budgeting is putting or setting aside money for anticipated and unanticipated future use. It is here that one sets up a goal so as to save. So set an emergency fund as your goal.

Checking, savings, money market accounts and “certificates of deposits”, are great places to keep one’s cash that might be needed on quick notice.

The amount saved from budgeting can either go to your savings goal, emergency fund or both. One could utilize the money saved from budgeting financial expenses by saving half of it to your savings account and half of it for emergencies. This way, you achieve your goals in savings and at the same time put in funds for emergency use. It’s your choice.

Colored Diamonds

Fancy colored diamonds are all the rage

these days. Gemologists have developed

new ways to create versions that are

affordable for the average person - by

treating less desirable diamonds. These

less desirable diamonds are treated with

irradiation followed by intense heat. This

turns brown and yellowish diamonds into

beautifully colored diamonds that you can

afford. This produces stunning greens,

blues, yellows, reds, purples and other

colors. These colors are considered

permanent, but there is a possibility

they could change during repairs if a high

heat is used.

Treatments like irradiation make it possible

for more people to own these vividly colored

diamonds. Most natural colored diamonds

are rare and also extremely expensive. When

shopping for colored diamonds you need to

assume that any affordable fancy color

diamond has been treated. Ask about the

stones origin and request to view a lab

certificate to verify authenticity.

Synthetic colored diamonds are another

option if owning a colored diamond is

something you desire but cannot quite afford.

They are real diamonds, but they are created

in a lab.

Natural fancy color diamonds get their

coloring from different trace elements present

in the stones, such as nitrogen, which

produces a yellow diamond. Diamonds can

be colored by exposure to radiation during its

creation. An example of a diamond affected

by radiation is a Green diamond.

Another way that a natural colored diamond

gets color is by its inclusions. Regarded as

flaws and undesirable in a colorless diamond,

inclusions give unique tones and brilliant

flashes of color in a fancy color diamond.

Remember that Natural fancy colored

diamonds are very expensive, any colored

diamond labeled to be sold as natural should

be accompanied by a certificate from a

respected grading lab.

A "fancy" diamond is a natural diamond that

has color. These colors vary from red, green,

purple, violet, orange, blue and pink – and

most shades between. Fancy color shades

vary from faint to intense.

The most famous diamonds in the world are

Color diamonds. The Tiffany Diamond,

which is yellow and the Hope Diamond which

is blue are colored diamonds. Color

diamonds have an amazing financial track

record. The value has never decreased on

wholesale level in more than 30 years. Blue

and pink diamonds have doubled every 5

years of a strong economy. In the 1970’s

you could have bought a very high quality

blue diamond for about 50K and today the

very same stone would be worth between

Diamond Certificates

A diamond certificate is also known as a

Diamond Grading Report. This report comes

from the Gemological Institute of America

(GIA), and you should require this report

when you are purchasing a diamond.

With a diamond certificate, you can verify

the color, cut, carat, weight, and clarity of the

diamond. You don’t have to worry about a

diamond dealer telling you anything less than

the truth, because the certificate comes

from the GIA – not the dealer. You may be

required to pay for the certificate, but the

cost is usually low, and in many cases, it

will help you negotiate a better price on the

diamond – or keep you from purchasing a

lower quality diamond altogether.

If you buy a high quality diamond, and then

later decide to sell the diamond, you will

need to have the certificate, or you will have

a hard time selling it to someone else.

Furthermore, you can use the Diamond

Grading Report to look up the wholesale

value of the diamond in question. Use the

guide that is used by the diamond cutting

industry.

With the Certificate, or Diamond Grading

Report, there won’t be any doubts when you

are trying to purchase a diamond. You can

easily find out what the diamond is worth.

This will prevent you from overpaying, and it

can prevent a seller from under-charging as

well.

A copy of the Diamond Grading Report

should be given to your insurance company

as well, when you insure the diamond. This

provides absolute, unquestionable proof of

the value of the diamond should it be stolen

in the future. Insurance companies cannot

argue with the report.

Avoid diamond dealers who seem reluctant

to provide a certificate! Also avoid sellers

who tell you that a certificate diamond will

cost you more – the only additional cost

should be the cost of the certificate, which

is low. If the dealer doesn’t want to provide

a certificate, then you don’t want to do

business with that dealer.

Don’t accept certificates from Gemological

Laboratories other than GIA. There are many

fly-by-night Gemological labs these days, but

in the end, GIA has been established as the

most respectable and trustworthy – not to

mention oldest – of the lot. So avoid dealers

who don’t want to use GIA for certification

purposes as well.

Don’t buy an expensive diamond without

paying the extra cost of the certificate. If a

dealer tries to convince you to make the

purchase without the certificate, or if they

want to use a company other than GIA, you

can be sure that the dealer has probably

greatly inflated the price of the diamond –

they have something that they are hiding

Cigar Smoking 101

What are the basics of cigar smoking? How do you light a cigar? How do you draw on the cigar properly? Do you inhale? What are the dos and don'ts of cigar smoking? If you have ever pondered any of these questions, read on. Here is a simple and accessible primer designed to help you gain familiarity with the sometimes confusing, always enigmatic world of cigar smoking.

First Step: Lighting Up

First, all new cigar smokers should learn how to properly light a cigar. Use a clipper designed for cigars to clip off the edge of the head (the section you put to your mouth). If possible light the foot of your cigar with a cedar match. Avoid regular cigarette lighters. They produce a nasty odor that can linger and ruin a good cigar. If you must use a lighter, use butane lighter. These will keep the odor to a minimum. However, you should always strive to use a wooden match because lighters can easily taint the foot of your cigar. How do you light up? Simply strike a match and hold the edge of your cigar over the flame. Avoid touching the cigar to the fire, simply hold the cigar over the flame and draw deeply until the cigar is lit.

Second Step: Burn it down to a nub?

Should you burn your cigar down to a nub? Experts recommend you leave at least two inches to your cigar. Even the finest cigars will tend to get bitter if you let it burn all the way down. What about ashes? Should you knock the ashes off of your cigar? Rather than knocking the ashes off the edge, let the cigar rest in the ashtray when you're not smoking it. The ashes will fall off naturally.

Third Step: Relax and Enjoy

A cigar should never be rushed. By design, cigars should be savored, preferably after dinner and with a glass of good brandy. Hold the cigar between your thumb and fingers—anything else might be considered bad taste. Also, don't inhale deeply. The smoke should not reach your lung. This is very bad for your health, and it will not help you taste the cigar any better. Of course, you should always be considerate of those around you. If possible, smoke in the company of other cigar smokers. A good cigar can be enjoyed alone and even more so with friends.

Auto Responder Marketing Techniques

The Internet offers many means of affordable marketing with auto responders. Here are a couple of popular ways of using them.

DIRECTORY

Some webmasters set up link or article directories on their sites. They create a directory on a specific industry topic, placing their own ad or banner along the top. Then they invite others to add their website links via a link exchange program, listing themselves in your directory. Or they invite articles to be submitted that include a resource box at the bottom of each with a link to the author’s website. This results on increased traffic as sites link up across the World Wide Web. Enter “link exchange software” or “article directory software” into a favorite search engine for help with each.

TEACH A COURSE

Some marketers write up a simple step-by-step instructional class in their area of expertise. Then they break it up into smaller portions or messages and set them up in an auto responder as email messages, including short ads within each message to invite sales & website visits. Then they invite website visitors to sign up through on online form or email subscription address offered through the auto responder service. As people sign up, they will learn more about the products and services through the teaching series.

A Short History of Cigars and Tobacco

Have you ever wondered where cigars were first produced? It is widely believed that cigars were first produced in Spain. But before cigars became all the rage in Europe, tobacco was needed to make them. Tobacco is indigenous to the Americas, where native peoples have produced it for hundreds of years. It is believed that the Maya of Yucatan peninsula in Mexico and parts of Central America cultivated tobacco, and even smoked it! Tobacco use spread to other tribes, both north and south. It is believed that its first use in the United States was probably among the tribe along the Mississippi. It wasn't until Christopher Columbus sailed his famous voyage to the Americas in 1492 that the rest of the world came to know tobacco.

It is said that Columbus was not impressed by tobacco or its use among native peoples, but many sailors grew found of the strange plant. Soon it quickly caught on in Spain and Portugal. From there, it spread to France, where the French ambassador Jean Nicot lent his name to the scientific name for tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum). The origins of the word tobacco itself are still suspect, although many believe it is simply a corruption of the word Tobago, which is the name of a Caribbean island. Still others believe it comes from the word Tabasco, a region (and now state) in Mexico.

The first tobacco plantation in the United States was established in Virginia in 1612. More tobacco plantations followed in Maryland soon after. Although tobacco became a popular crop, it was only smoked in pipes. The cigar was not introduced to the United States until the late 18th century. Israel Putnam, an army general who had served in the Revolutionary War, is credited with introducing the cigar to the United States. He had traveled to Cuba after the Revolutionary War and returned with a box of Cuban cigars. Their popularity quickly spread, and soon enough cigar factories were established in the area of Harford, Connecticut, where General Putnam resided.

In Europe, cigar production and consumption did not achieve widespread popularity until after the Peninsula War in the early 19th century. British and French veterans returned to their homelands after years of serving in Spain with their tobacco pipes in tow. Among the rich and fashionable, the favored method of taking tobacco was the cigar. Cigar smoking remains a habit associated with the rich and discriminating of upper society.

Organize and Save

Keep an inventory of your children's school supplies and keep it organized. If you are not organized, you will be spending more money on replenishing your supplies. Small things like pencils and crayons may not cost too much, but if you replenish your supplies unnecessarily, you are losing valuable money.

You should also try involving the kids when making the inventory. This will give them a sense of ownership for their things and would know where to take and put their things.

Tax Holidays

Tax holidays are often offered by many states during the back-to-school season. Price ceilings will be put on different school gears. You might want to do a little research and ask about the schedule and the details of the tax holidays in your area.

Bulk Buying

It's a basic economic principle - "the more you buy, the more you save". Well, this is applicable if you are buying a specific item which you will really need in the near future. In buying pencils, for example, you might want to buy a box rather than buying one for each of your kids. Face it, you will be needing to replenish these after some time, so might as well avail of the lower price by buying in bulk.

Transportation

You might want to consider buying your child a bicycle for him to bring to school. This, of course, is not always feasible. Finding a cheap and safe way to bring your children to school daily is an important thing. Car pools and school transportation services are options that you can look at.

Snacks

Whenever you have the time and energy to prepare food for your children, do so. You will not only be saving on the pocket money that you will give to them but you are also secured that your children are eating healthy and safe meals.

Getting your children through school is a hard task and a costly one. Saving money through practical and simple means can assist you in this endeavor. The benefits will eventually add up to bring a brighter future to your children.

A Little Goes a Long Way: Smart Secrets to Budgeting

There’s nothing more we want than to be able to efficiently manage our money. After all, the money that we want to manage is money that is oftentimes, hard earned. This is where a budget comes in. A budget executed properly, should help you see where your money is going, get more utility out of every buck, and help you save some extra for future use.

The first smart secret to a budget is to set a goal. What do you want to achieve? Do you want to correctly appropriate your income into bills payments? Do you want to put an amount aside for a big purchase or a huge investment? By having a goal, you will be able to shape your budget to best serve your interests.

Secondly, you would want to take note of where your money usually goes. This includes bills, major but regular purchases (like grocery costs, healthcare costs, and the like), and everyday miscellaneous purchases. Only when you list down where you know your money usually goes will you be able to identify which expenses you can do without. Once you’ve identified these regular expenditures, take into consideration what you can cut back on. How much do you spend on your daily caffeine fix in the morning? How much do you spend on newspaper deliveries to your front door? The measly $2 or $5 of these small purchases cumulatively translates to more than $3600 a year! Instead of buying your expensive latte or reading the newspaper on print, put aside the amount you would usually pay for these small routine purchases in a small container. You will be surprised at how much you’re saving out of your older budget.

Being indebted is a vicious cycle on its own. You’re talking about continuous payments, not to mention huge interest rates. The best way to deal with this is to pay the minimum on all of your debts in order to avoid paying extraneous late fees. Whatever cash excesses you may have, you can opt to add on to the payments you make in your biggest debt. This way, you are concentrated on getting the biggest debts first that cost you the greatest interest rates. Doing this progressively, you’ll be amazed at how much you’ll get off your huge debts.

The last and most important step is to jot down the amount you earn the sum you spend. You can make use of computer cash management programs, or make database sheets of your own. Make a system that works for you and will help you keep track of your monthly budgeting progress.

All About Clinical Depression

Depression, a mental illness that is often characterized by prolonged periods of sadness and melancholy, experts from the field of psychiatry say.

But just because one person is moping around and just generally hating the world around him or her, doesn't mean that it's already depression, but if this kind of behavior, the feeling of emptiness, loss of self-worth and absolutely no hope for happiness just goes on and on, then, yes, that individual is very much, indeed, depressed.

Still, there are various types of depression, from Manic or Bipolar depression - characterized by sudden and extreme changes in one's mood wherein one minute he or she is in an elevated state of euphoria while the next minute (day or week) he or she is feeling to be in a personal hell, Postpartum depression - characterized by a prolonged sadness and a feeling of emptiness by a new mother wherein physical stress during child birth, an uncertain sense of responsibility towards the new born baby can be just some of the possible factors why some new mother go through this, Dysthimia - characterized by a slight similarity with depression, although this time, it's been proven to be a lot less severe, but of course with any case, should be treated immediately, Cyclothemia - characterized by a slight similarity with Manic or Bipolar depression wherein the individual suffering from this mental illness may occasionally suffer from severe changes in one's moods, Seasonal Affective Disorder - characterized by falling in a rut only during specific seasons (i.e. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall) studies however, prove that more people actually fall in to a rut more during the WInter and Fall seasons and lastly, Mood swings, wherein a person's mood may shift from happy to sad to angry in just a short time.

Clinical depression however, or as some might call as 'major' depression, is actually the medical term for depression. Actually clinical depression is more of a disorder rather than an illness since it basically covers only those who are suffering from symptoms related to depression. Clinical depression is how doctors usually refer to "depression" when giving a diagnose of their patient. It's basically just a medical term.

However, in spite of being an actual disorder, Clinical depression may well be treated. Doctors are actually highly optimistic that their patients who are suffering from Clinical disorder will be well on their way towards good mental health as long as they treated as soon as they have been diagnosed with Clinical depression. Patients who have been seeking for treatments for Clinical depression have proven to be quite successful in their quest, given that 80 percent of actual Clinical depression patients have been treated and has somewhat found relief from their disorder.

For those who may be seeking some answers for their Clinical depression related questions, the depression section of the health center is highly recommended, as well as books on psychiatry and the internet - which can offer a lot of helpful information with regards to Clinical depression although self-medication/treatment is highly disapproved of. Clinical depression may not pose as much as a threat as the other types of depression, but it is best to leave it to the hands of professionals who can safely attend to and cure this disorder.

Choosing the Best Ashtray for Cigar Smoking

Is an ashtray just an ashtray? Unlike regular cigarettes, cigars need their own special space to support their girth and ashes. Many cigar aficionados swear by the pleasures of finding the proper place to hold their cigars and ashes.

So what are the characteristics of a good ashtray? First of course, make sure the ashtray you buy is big enough to hold your cigars. Cigars come in varying sizes, so you will want an ashtray that can accommodate the single of your choice. Next, consider your personal style of smoking. Do you produce a lot of ash? Do you let your cigar rest for extended periods of time? These are all important considerations when choosing your ashtray.

Look for ashtrays made of metal, heavy glass, or ceramics. Ideally, you will want the ashtray to be big enough to hold the ashes for two cigars.

Where can you find the best ashtrays for your cigars? Many cigar aficionados swear by antique ashtrays. Search out flea markets and antique stores for good deals. Tobacco shops, mail order catalogues, and Internet shops are also good places to look.

Building Your List with Paid eZine Advertising

Some Internet Marketers can get clueless when it comes to unleashing the full potential of paid eZine advertising. One of the most common dilemmas is that whether should the Internet Marketer advertise the product or service he is selling directly to the subscribers of the eZine he is paying advertising for?

This can be a wise method, but with ifs and buts. For one, the advertisement must be compelling and attention grabbing. Secondly, there is no telling if the eZine’s subscribers constantly practice a buying habit until you put some money to find out.

Investing even a small sum of money can be risky to a number of Internet Marketers who are on tight budgets. But in spite of the risk factors, eZine advertising can still be rewarding, if done right.

Thus the solution: the marketer would be wiser if he or she uses eZine advertising to build his or her mailing list. It makes sense, anyway. Since some eZines display more than one sponsored advertisement, you can grab the subscriber’s attention by giving a free or risk-free product or offer through your ad.

When the subscriber clicks on your ad, he or she can opt into your mailing list in exchange for the free offer, which can be a free report or even a trial service.

While you are not making a hard sell through your advertisement just yet, building your list by getting other eZine’s subscribers subscribed to your eZine allows you to follow up with them in the future, as and when you have new offers.

Instead of trying to publish a small daily or weekly eZines, try publishing one large monthly eZine (similar to a monthly magazine) as an e-book format delivered via auto responder, preferably an Adobe .pdf file. You could have it made up of a large number of articles per issue and insert regularly featured areas throughout like inspirational quotes, industry tips, favorite sites and advice from the pros. You could also insert full-color graphics, multimedia components like audio / video file links and ads. Then you can charge a monthly rate, with an annual discounted package purchase, and sell advertising spots to sprinkle in your auto responder announcements for each issue and with an informational series to announce your monthly eZine to new prospects.

In summary, by using customized marketing techniques like an eZine eBook, tailored to fit your own products and services, you can reach out and increase your website traffic and sales opportunities. Internet marketing can mean more ways to grow your business.

Cigars 101: An Overview of Cigars

Cigars have long been associated with the rich and powerful, with relaxation and rich flavor. Cigar aficionados have created a culture around the art of smoking, assembling various theories and accessories to debate and facilitate smoking. Much like wine tasting, cigar smoking has been seen as a diversion of the upper echelons of society.

It is believed that cigars were probably first produced in Spain, and then quickly caught on in other European countries. Although many different countries manufacture cigars, Cuban cigars have long been highly regarded as one of the most flavorful and rich of all cigars. This is due to regional microclimates that are said to produce the highest quality tobacco, as well as the skill of the country's cigar makers. Other countries that produce significant amounts of tobacco and cigars include Brazil, Mexico, Honduras, Ecuador, Cameroon, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, and the United States. Why have cigars long caught the attention of so many? Many speculate that the cigar's main attraction is in the way it is manufactured. High quality cigars are always wrapped by hand. Unlike cigarettes, cigars undergo a lengthy process of fermentation and aging (much like wine), resulting in subtle flavors and textures. They are highly individual and the best cigars will provide no smoky aftertaste at all.

The taste of cigars is much more complex than cigarettes. The majority of all cigars are created by wrapping three different layers of tobacco leaves together. High quality cigars usually contain long leaves of nicotine as the filler, although they may also contain a combination of scraps. This results in subtle variations, different textures, and complex flavors. Cigarettes, on the other hand, are mass-produced and generally only contain one type of tobacco. Cigars also come in an incredible variety of flavors. The dedicated cigar aficionado can find chocolate, vanilla, apple, and even coffee-flavored cigars!

Although cigars have long been lauded for their smooth and complex flavors, they can also pose a great health risk. All tobacco contains nicotine. We've all heard about the negative health risks of nicotine, but what does it do exactly? Nicotine is a stimulant that produces a sense of euphoria. Even the casual smoker cannot escape the fact that nicotine is highly addictive and contains various toxins, carcinogens, and irritants. Although most connoisseurs of cigars will avoid inhaling the smoke, they are still at risk of developing various types of oral and larynx cancers.

Cigars vs. Cigarettes: Which is worse for Your Health?

Most everyone has heard about the health risks of smoking both cigars and cigarettes, and the dangers of secondhand smoke. But which is worse? Do cigar smokers really have the advantage over cigarettes smokers? The answer is much more complicated than anyone ever thought.

A Matter of Degree

Research from the National Cancer Institute indicates that the health risks posed by both cigarettes and cigars are strongly linked to frequency of use. That is, it's not whether you smoke cigarettes or cigars, but how much and how often you consume them. Individuals who smoke cigarettes on a daily basis are at a greater risk of developing cancer than people who smoke the occasional cigar. That said, evidence indicates that cigars contain many more carcinogens than cigarettes. It also appears that cigar smoke is more toxic than cigarette secondhand smoke. Much of this is due to the fact that cigars are bigger than cigarettes, and thus produce more smoke.

To Inhale or Not?

Debate has also concentrated on the issue of inhaling nicotine from cigars and cigarettes. Dedicated cigar enthusiasts argue that cigars are less dangerous than cigarettes because they don't require you to inhale as much toxins. The National Cancer Institute's research indicates that both cigar and cigarette smokers are exposed to carcinogens, regardless of whether they inhale or not. Even without inhaling, smokers are still exposing their mouths, tongues, larynxes, and throats to carcinogens. In fact, simply holding an unlit cigar or cigarette between your lips can expose you to carcinogens. Furthermore, when saliva comes in contact with a cigar or cigarette, even momentarily, carcinogens are swallowed. When carcinogens are swallowed, the throat, larynx, and esophagus further become exposed to these toxins and irritants. Cigarette and cigar smokers appear to swallow similar amounts of carcinogens, resulting in approximately the same percentage of risk in developing oral and esophageal cancers.

Research indicates that the health risks associated with both cigars and cigarettes may be reduced if the degree inhalation is adjusted. Because most cigarette smokers tend to inhale deeply and smoke on a regular basis, they are at higher risk of developing cancer of the larynx. To get an idea of how inhalation of smoke relates to health risks, the National Cancer Institute tells us that the lung cancer risk of someone who smokes five cigars a day and inhales moderately has about the same risk as someone who someone who smokes one pack of cigarettes a day.

Buying Diamonds Online

With all of the potential for scams concerning

diamonds, buying diamonds online almost

seems unthinkable! However, you actually

can purchase diamonds online, without any

problems – as long as you are careful.

First, think about your reasons for wanting to

purchase the diamond online, as opposed to

making a purchase from a local jewelry store.

The most common reason is price. Due to

low overhead costs, online jewelers and

wholesalers are able to offer lower prices.

However, you must be careful – sometimes

a price that is too low is a sure indication of

a scam.

One of the best things about purchasing

online is the unlimited selection. When

shopping offline, you are limited to the

selection in the stores in your general area.

Online, there are no limits. But again, you

must use a great deal of care and

consideration before handing your money

over to someone that you cannot see and

have never met!

Before shopping, learn as much as you can

about diamonds – especially cut, color,

clarity and carat weights. When you are

knowledgeable about diamonds, it will be

harder for a con artist to rip you off. Once

you know more about diamonds, you will be

ready to start shopping.

Take your time. Don’t purchase the first

diamond that you see that interests you.

Instead, look for similar diamonds for sale.

Do some comparison shopping to find the

lowest prices. Once you have found the

lowest price, start doing your investigation.

You know about diamonds, you’ve found a

diamond that you love, and you’ve found the

lowest price – but you are still quite a ways

away from actually purchasing that diamond!

Ask about the seller’s credentials, such as

professional jewelry associations that they

belong to. View and print the seller’s return,

refund, and upgrade policies. Also inquire

about additional services, such as settings

and mountings, sizing, and free shipping. Do

a search for customer reviews on this

particular company around the Internet. Also

check with the BBB Online to see if there have

been any complaints.

Ask for a diamond grading report from an

independent laboratory such as GIA, HRD,

EGL or AGS. You should see this before

making a purchase. Finally, use a reputable

escrow service for high dollar diamonds –

preferably one that will have the diamond

appraised while it is in their possession. The

seller sends the diamond to the escrow

service, and you send the money to pay for

the diamond to the escrow service. The

escrow service has the diamond appraised,

sends the diamond to you, and sends the

money to the seller. This is the surest way to

protect yourself…again, make sure that you

use a reputable escrow service!

Churning out eZine Content

Creating your own content can be a challenge if you publish your own online newsletter or eZine.

However, regardless of any topic you are publishing on, types of contents can be generally divided into four categories, namely factual content, short tips, mini stories and case studies.

Other than writing your own content, you can get your own unique content the quick and easy way by organizing an interview with an expert or leader in the topic.

Very often, this can be done for free and since the interviewee is writing out most of the content, there is nothing else for you to do other than giving the interviewee something valuable in exchange (maybe a meal!).

Now if you have money to spare, you can hire a ghostwriter to write your content for you without taking any credit. Recommended professional marketplaces where you can seek ghostwriters include http://www.elance.com/ and http://www.rentacoder.com/.

Another little known and underused method in getting your own content is via public domains. If you are not familiar with the term "public domain", "public domain" simply means anything that is NOT protected under US copyright law.

This includes ALL works published before 1923 and, under certain conditions, works published up to 1978. And in this case, we are referring “works” to written materials such as reports, articles and books.

Republishing and repackaging public domain information can help you save time and effort from creating new ideas and content as they are readily available. On top of that, you do not have to pay royalties or copyright fees on that work.

If you fancy the idea of publishing content without any writing on your part, this method is for you.

Ad Swap Magic

Here is a little used technique you can implement to build your mailing list for no additional cost. I call it “using subscribers to make subscribers” like much in the context of “using money to make money”.

This simple list building formula can be summed up in two words: ad swap.

Generally, you trade advertisements with other eZine publishers, preferably of the same mailing list size or bigger. You broadcast the eZine publisher’s advertisement to your mailing list while the eZine publisher endorses your ad to his list. Yes, you are actually cross endorsing or cross promoting each others offer to each of your mailing list.

Your advertisement’s goal should be to get as many subscribers possible from the other eZine publisher’s mailing list to sign up for yours.

The result: you grow your mailing list. This method does not require money, which means it can be done for free. And the return of subscribers? Infinite!

You only have to do this with one eZine publisher at least once, because his subscribers who are also your subscribers can now be followed up within the boundaries of your mailing list.

Perform ad swaps with as many eZine publishers as possible and soon, you will have a huge mailing list of your own – built free.

[Insert Your Resource Box Here]

Deciding the Nature of Your eZine

When choosing a topic to publish your eZine on, you must consider some important success factors that can determine the flow and goal of your eZine.

You are encouraged to write non-time sensitive contents such as short tips, mini stories and interviews. Doing so enables you to create content in advance so that you can conveniently dispense to your subscribers at a later schedule.

Topic-wise, you will do well to cater to a starving market that will always be on demand for the kind of content you offer. And by this, I mean that you should zero in onto a demand that has been, is and will always be there.

Relationships and dating are niches that have been on Earth long before the World Wide Web came up, for example. The food niche will always be there as long as there are chefs cooking for anyone with a stomach to fill.

Having said that, you also want to have a steady stream of products or services of your own or an affiliate for you can endorse to your mailing list and make even more money.

This is also the reason why the Internet Marketing niche will remain one of the hottest niches there is, as products and services are created almost around the clock. As long as there Internet Businesses cropping out, there will always be needs to be fulfilled.

Choosing The Cut of A Diamond

There are many different cuts of diamonds

to choose from. The cut essentially refers to

the shape that the diamond is cut into –

unless you are in the diamond or jewelry

business, but this shape has a great impact

on the much the diamond sparkles.

The most popular cuts are heart, marquise,

oval, pear, princess, round, trillion, and

emerald cuts. The shape has an impact on

how much the diamond sparkles, but the

actual cutting itself – when the diamond

cutter actually cuts the diamond into a

particular shape – also matters a great

deal. If the diamond is poorly cut, it will lose

its sparkle.

However, in the diamond industry, the cut of

a diamond doesn’t refer to its shape at all.

Instead, this is a reference to the stone’s

depth, width, brilliance, durability, clarity, and

other aspects of the diamond. Common

cutting problems include a missing or off

center culet, misalignment, a diamond that

is too thick or too thin, cracks, or broken

culets.

When shopping for a diamond, you should

of course choose the shape that you like the

best, but then look at several different

diamonds of that shape to find the one with

the best cut – the one that sparkles the most,

in all types of lighting.

Cigar Smoking Etiquette

Smoking cigars may be a great source of pleasure in your life, but the courteous smoker knows that not everyone enjoys the taste (or smell!) of a good Cuban. With the fervor of anti-smoking campaigns still in full swing, the importance of enjoying a good stogie while not offending others cannot be stressed enough. Simply remember that while you are smoking a cigar, it can be difficult to gauge the smell that others are experiencing. And don't forget that cigar smokes can leave a mighty strong residue on clothing, furniture, and even the walls! In order to enjoy your stogie without a heavy conscience, learn to become a considerate and courteous cigar smoker.

If you live with non-smokers, try to find a well-ventilated area of your residence where you can smoke comfortably. Although it may be tempting to lock yourself away in an office or bedroom, it's probably not a good idea to smoke in an enclosed area unless it has a window. Make sure you have easy access to the window. Never smoke in a closed area! You are more likely to inhale the toxic air from your own cigar. If possible, go outside to smoke. Pull up a lawn chair; relax on the porch, or any other open area where you can smoke comfortably. Get as far away as possible to non-smokers, especially children and the elderly. Remember that cigar smoke contains many carcinogens that can be easily inhaled by non-smokers.

If you must smoke a cigar outside your home, remember that the courteous and respectful smoker will only light up where legally permitted. Do no light up in a bar, hotel, or restaurant where smoking is clearly prohibited. The courteous cigar smoker will also make sure to smoke in the company of other smokers. If you are with someone who does not smoke, ask his or her permission. If they agree, be considerate about it. Make sure the smoke isn't wafting in their direction. Sit near an open window or space. Make sure the air conditioner or current is moving the smoke in their direction! Also, make sure no one around you is eating. The secondhand smoke from a discourteous smoker is a surefire way to ruin a meal.

A courteous cigar smoker will also be aware of their ashes. If you must smoke outside your home, make certain to dispose of your ashes in a safe and appropriate container. Don't forget that ashes can easily blow away, especially in lower quality cigars. Don't litter with ashes, and be careful they don't blow near anyone around you.

Bonded Diamonds

Before you start shopping for diamonds,

consider dealing with a bonded jeweler.

Bonded jewelers sell bonded diamonds,

and there are very few bonded jewelers in

the world. In fact, out of all of the jeweler’s

in the world, only about 5% of them are

bonded. Buying a bonded diamond will

cost more than buying a non-bonded

diamond, but when you look at what you

get with the bonded option, you will see

that it is well worth the extra expense.

First, bonded diamonds have a buy back

policy for the life of the diamond. No matter

how long you have had the diamond, you can

take it back to the bonded jeweler and sell it

back to him or her, for a 100% refund. If a

jeweler does not offer a 100% buy back

guarantee, for the life of the diamond, then

you should take a closer look at the diamond

to see what is wrong with it.

Bonded diamonds also have a breakage

policy. If the stone breaks or chips, the

bonded jeweler will replace it with a new one

– one time. No jeweler would ever offer such

a policy on any stone that was not 100%

natural, so just the offer of such a policy

should give you piece of mind concerning

the quality of the diamond. Bonded

diamonds are natural and untreated.

Bonded diamonds increase in value, with a

fixed appreciation rate that is designed to

keep up with inflation. This means that a

diamond that is worth a certain amount of

money today will be worth more in the future,

as the price of diamonds continues to rise.

This generally does not apply to buy backs,

however. It typically applies to trade-ins.

Alternately, by purchasing a bonded

diamond, you are protected against the

possibility of a market crash. If a market

crash occurs, the value of diamonds will

drop. However, the bonded jeweler

guarantees to refund you the difference

between what the diamond is now worth

and what you paid for it before the market

crash.

It may be difficult to find a bonded jeweler in

your area, but if you can, this is who you

want to deal with, as opposed to dealing

with an un-bonded jeweler. Specifically tell

the jeweler that you are only interested in

bonded diamonds. You can find a bonded

jeweler in your area by using various online

resources, or by calling the local jewelry

Check the Ashtray: Using Ashes to Determine the Quality of Your Cigar

How to tell if your cigar is of the highest quality? Check the ashtray—the ashes left behind can speak volumes about the quality of your cigar. Here a few simple tips to determining the quality of your cigar.

First, note how fast your cigar burns. A cigar that seems to burn too quickly or disposes ashes that break apart easily is probably a lower quality cigar. If the ashes seem too messy, and don't break apart together, this may also indicate a lower quality cigar. Also, check the color of the ashes. If the ash color seems to change, the tobacco leaf mix may be of poorer quality.

The highest quality cigars, those that are well packed, will burn very slowly and burn stiff ash. The 'stiff ash' can remain intact up to two to three inches long, and remain on the cigar without breaking apart. A high quality cigar can be burned down to the nub. Even high quality cigars may vary in taste, especially when they are smoked down to the nub. Many times, you can usually get 'burn past' these bitter spots by letting the cigar burn on its own for a few minutes.

Are Diamonds Really Rare?

When you walk into a jewelry store and see

all the diamonds in all of the various settings

that are for sale, it is difficult to realize that

diamonds are indeed rare. Most people

don’t even stop to consider how that

diamond came to be sitting in that jeweler’s

case! There is quite a bit of work that is done

before a diamond is ready to sell to the

general public!

For every one million diamonds that are

mined, only one will be found that is a quality

one caret diamond. In order to find a two

caret diamond, about five million diamonds

must be mined. More than two hundred tons

of ore must be mined to find one small

diamond, and even then, more than 80%

of the diamonds that are mined are only

good for industrial use, such as diamond

drill bits.

So, the next time you visit your local jewelry

store, ask to see the one carat diamonds.

You should look at this diamond with new

appreciation – knowing that it truly is one

This will give your subscribers and web site visitors easy access to them and offers a chance to include graphics, audio and video and other components all rolled up in .pdf files for quick, easy download.

2. Help with tech issues and publish your entire web site, save it in a pdf file, and load it into an auto responder. Sometimes visitors don't have enough time read your entire site or they lose their Internet connection or time online. So this way, they could print it out and read it offline.

3. You could offer your eBook via an auto responder. Often your visitors won't have to download it or have the software to read it right away, so this way they can take it “to go”.

4. For a handy - -and nice legal - touch, you could include the terms and conditions to purchase transactions and load them into an auto responder that is triggered with each purchase. This could include return policies, purchases, refunds etc.

Converting Every Visitor into Subscriber

If a person visits your website and leaves, chances are that he or she will not come back, especially if there are no compelling reasons to do so. After all, we all behave rather impulsively on the Internet, so much so that we can easily forget where we were 10 web pages ago.

But the bottom line is that your visitor may not come back to your website again. If 1,000 visitors visit your website, leave and never come back again, you can imagine the amount of potential revenue lost, simply because they do not come back. You could have converted a fraction of the visitors into your customers.

Some may say that creating unique content can keep some of the visitors coming back, but very often, unique content is not the solution. The real, long-term solution lies in converting your visitors into subscribers of your mailing list.

Before your visitor leaves your website, you want to convert him or her into your subscriber via a simple opt-in to your mailing list. You do this by asking for your visitor’s name and email address through your opt-in form.

And if your visitor signs up to be on your mailing list, you can still follow up with him via email. You can get your subscriber to consider your offer, or endorse another offer to him or her.

All in all, you want to convert as many visitors into subscribers as possible and obtain the potential revenue you rightfully deserve – the easy, wise way.

Credit card application for starters

“Plastic money” is a term dubbed by the people of the world in reference to the wondrous item called the “credit card.” And at the rate the economy is going and with the pace of life that we have right now we want everything done the express way. That’s why a lot of businessmen, young professionals, big bankers and even well-off students are lining up inside their trusted banks, credit card application in one hand and the need to have instant credit on the other.

Of credit, cards and credit card application

Credit card applications have taken over the need to have cold cash and a lot of people are trading in their hard-earned green bucks for a shot of having the charge-it-card. But along with your credit card application is the responsibility that we are mainly unaware of. So when you are thinking about falling in line to get started with your credit card account and before you start filling up the fields necessary to get up and running with your credit card application know all the precautions and the counter measures for you to be protected by the federal law. Credit card application, as we all know takes a lot of time with regards to the verification of the identity of the person on top of the credit card application. Because of the US Patriotic Act that requires further verification of anyone applying for anything on the United States, that includes credit card application, getting anything in the US has become quite a chore. But since the importance of having a credit card is top priority in the US many are still willing to go to immense amount of trouble that is coupled with it.

The importance of having a credit card is very imminent; take for example the average American. An average American from the middle class bracket owns about eight to ten different credit cards and uses all of them at an average if once a day. With this number it’s not surprising that there are about a hundred thousand credit card applications being processed in a single day. And the rate if credit card applications are still expected to rise within the next quarter. The need for credit cards and debit cards is for real and the market should be open for more credit card applications that is expectedly going to flood their way. There will be a great need for more people to look into the responsibility of educating other people on how and when to use their credit cards, because it’s hard earned greenbacks that we are throwing away when we buy online porno and junk like that only profit a few people. So whenever you’re ready grab a pen and paper and get ready to fill up that credit card application form and take one step in the express charging the way you buy.

Most of the time, although your credit card application is mailed to that states that you have been pre-approved, you will still be asked to fill out a credit card application or the ‘acceptance form’. The reason behind this is the need of the bank or the company to verify the identification of the person they have sent the card to. Since most companies offer online credit card application, you may go online to fill out the form so the processing will be convenient and easier.

When filling out your credit card application, there are some important details that should be considered aside from your name and contact information like the query should you accept every offer or not, the possibility of hidden fees that can be quite expensive and the like.

Building Your List with Give Away Ventures

With the awareness of the importance of list building, comes a recent Internet Marketing trend which was started just a couple of years ago for the mutual benefits of all Internet Marketers and mailing list owners.

This method is more recognized as a “starting a Give Away venture”.

In a real sense, a Give Away event is much like a big time version of ad swaps. In a nutshell, a group of mailing list owners partner together and pool in their individual gifts in one limited-time event.

Each participating partner contributes a gift to the event. The gift can be a free product, membership pass or a product he is already selling (if he is kind enough to offer into the event).

The participating partner prepares a Lead Capture Page where he gives the gift in exchange for the subscriber’s email address. In other words, in order for a visitor to download the digital gift, he must opt in and subscribe to your mailing list.

When the gifts are pooled together into one event (site), every partner will then endorse the Give Away event to their own mailing lists.

The result: lots of visitors to one event as a collective effort of several participating partners!

With so many visitors downloading gifts from one focused event, it is a true win-win situation. This is because the visitors get to download several free gifts for their own use and every partner gets to build their own mailing list!

You can easily get notified about a Give Away event in the making by communicating with other Internet Marketers often or participating in Internet Marketing discussion and Joint Venture boards.

It is strongly suggested that your resource box URL links to your mailing list’s landing page where you can get your visitor’s name and email address, which will in turn help you build your mailing list at no cost.

How Diamonds Are Cut

In their most natural form, diamonds are –

well – quite ugly. They have no luster or shine,

and in fact, look like nothing more than

broken glass. A diamond must be cut, and

then polished before it actually becomes a

thing of beauty.

Diamonds are cut with saws, into round

shapes. From the rounded shape, other

shapes may be cut, such as heart shapes

– but the shape is less important than the

quality of the cutting that is being done. If

the diamond is poorly cut, it will lose light,

and it will not sparkle and shine very well.

Each facet of the diamond must be

carefully cut into the geometrical shapes

that allow the diamond to sparkle and

shine, then the entire diamond is cut into

a specific shape, such as an emerald cut

or a princess cut diamond.

Once the cut is done, the diamond is put into

a dop, which resembles a cup with another

diamond – only a diamond is strong enough

to smooth the edges of another diamond.

Once the diamond has been cut and shaped,

and had the edges smoothed in the dop, it is

polished on a scaif or a diamond polishing
